Firstly a BIG thanks to all those who have come and visited Bugger – we are thrilled so many of you have a sense of humour which  is pretty much the same as ours…

John and I have found it particularly rewarding to see that our Bugger concept resonates with you – nothing makes our day more than seeing you openly laugh at what you see or read.

Feedback on the food  and coffee is also gratifying – we have taken on board any suggestions and our menu is evolving to meet your needs. We still have changes we want to make – in fact we will always be changing – so there will always be something new for you to try.

We are totally committed to delivering on the ‘Bugger intent’…

We  want you leave our cafe feeling a little, or a lot, happier than when you came in. 

We believe life can be too serious & we need more laughter! We aim for you to feel totally welcomed by our team, amused by our decor having enjoyed great food & coffee in a relaxed uplifting place.

As a family, and  as a business, we have huge gratitude for the sacrifices made by New Zealanders so we can enjoy our  fabulous life in NZ.

I have pasted my two speeches  our daughter Claire has made for National Bank RSA Cyril Bassett VC Speech Competition  (a competition to honor New Zealanders who fought in WWII) – two years in a row she made the national finals – never quite took out the big title …

I hope you feel inspired by the enthusiasm of youth as Claire reflects on our brave soldiers.
